HD V-Rod Muscle Turbo. 170-190 HP
I purchased the (Harley Davidson) HD V-Rod Muscle – Snow Leopard stock & imported it to Thailand in October-2011 from the USA.
East Coast Choppers (Thailand) Co. Ltd. performed all the main customization, including paintwork and subcontracting special one-of-a-kind purpose-built parts. Great assistance has been received from, among others, GR customs, Trask Turbo, Progressive Machine and Bitchin-seats.
HD V-Rod Muscle Work Performed
The work performed but not all-encompassing has been as follows; Progressive chrome 430 adjustable suspension rear shocks, Zippers Thunder-max ECM with a specially designed map for the turbo application combined with the JE 9.5:1 low compression forged pistons that also integrate with the Trask Turbo, complete with intercooler and a separate turbo bearing water cooling system. Enlarged turbo exhaust pipes interfaced with dual Vance and Hines exhaust slips on’s + chromed purpose-built exhaust crossover pipes and heat shields. Rizoma handlebars with custom raised and moved aft Aluminum billet milled brackets, all powder coated. Forward foot controls with milled aluminium and steel extensions + grips + passenger pegs, Rebuffini mirrors and brake + clutch controls (Comet and Apollo) and stainless-steel cabling. Extensive chroming, fuel tank side coatings, chromed upper and lower belt drive covers, Performance Machine wheels, pulley, brake callipers (+ covers), brake disks and spacer chromed bushings (new sealed wheel bearings), modified brake + clutch, hydraulic lines with micro lines and setup including billet cable clamps, customised chromed side number plate holder foldable, 100% custom painted + rocker boxes, white powder coating by RICHCO, headlight shield, GPS tracking system, speed shiftier indicator, Performance Machine “FAST AIR” air filter with unique fabricated stainless-steel adapter holder incorporated into the turbo intake. Coolant hose cover, chrome billet cam covers, No Limit (NLC) open type laser-cut plexiglass motor covers, Kit Billet Aluminum “complete” custom Bitchin seat and leather, and custom café racer aft seat section.
HD V-Rod Muscle Modifications:
Forward foot controls with milled aluminium and steel extensions + Grips + Passenger pegs, Rebuffini mirrors and break + Clutch controls (Comet and Apollo) and Stainless-Steel cabling. Extensive chroming; Fuel tank side coatings; Chromed upper and lower belt drive covers; Performance Machine wheels; Pulley; brake calipers (+ covers) break disks and spacer chromed bushings.

Oxygen sensor chromed covers. Horn cover and water temp gauge kit assemblies added. Chromed temperature & clock units. XENON headlight with transformer assembly, wrap-around turn signals, and radiator grills. All visible bolts, nuts and washers are changed to stainless or chromed parts. Aluminium cable clamps and brackets. Milled and machined oxygen sensor covers. No Limit (NLC) swing arm with cut-outs, all cabling hidden. Viper air scoop intake, additional cooling setup and custom forward fender. Dual head breather lines with one-way valves and filters. Chromed brake lines manifold cover. Drag racing customised battery isolation switch for use during bike storage and trickle charger unit. Extra horn cover for the temperature sensor, chromed instrumentation gauges, Pirelli night dragon tires, and a high-powered battery installed. Chrome kit belt guard and debris deflector, dual helmet locking system.
Total person-hours: well over 1450 by all involved. Customization was completed in 2019.
